Where is Hoppers Crossing?

Hoppers Crossing was established more than 50 years ago and is ideally located just 30 kilometres from central Melbourne and only 20 minutes’ drive to the beach. It is on the metropolitan train network and commuters can arrive home from the city in about half an hour, on the Werribee line to Hoppers Crossing Station. The M1 Princes Freeway runs parallel with Hoppers Crossings’ southern border, giving quick and easy access to the city, the south-eastern suburbs and Victoria’s stunning surf coast to the west.

Hoppers Crossing is located in the City of Wyndham and is one of the shire’s more established suburbs. At the time of the last census (2016) it had a population of almost 40,000 people, many of which are young families. Hoppers Crossing is also known for its diverse multicultural community.
